Bready malt and grass/fresh hay aroma. Golden yellow with moderate off-white head. Mildly sweet biscuit malt, and moderately bitter/astringent fresh hay/grass flavor. Good body.

2$ blue can from vintage estate, nice place. Slightly darker than pale but clear. Looks more like iced tea. Medium foamy head. Clean fresh nose. Taste is a pretty good example of a mild, friendly civilized brew. Decent CO2. Good initial real old country festy taste on the palate. Marzen and marzen everywhere and only 8 more z's to go. Sounds like a law firm. Yes, liked this one. Fairly nifty in the middle. It hides its 6% rather well, seems like much less alky than it is. In the end it comes downn a little, taste goes just a little medicinal on the finish. Not bad, and not as good as the behaved varieties of fest; Climax Hoffmann Oktoberfest, Hacker-Pschorr Märzen, Voodoo James Brown, or Assawoman Bay MD Marzen. But much better than Market Garden O'Zahm Firestone Oaktoberfest Rivertowne Springfest Double or even Church Brew Oktoberfest, which BTW, are all quite annoying.

Can. Amber body with off-white head, diminishing. Malty aroma of bread, biscuit, caramel. Sweet from start to finish with some light bitterness at the end. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Fairly lifeless, flavor wise.
