Thanks Vance for the growler share.
Poured into a lager glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color; finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark earthiness, dark malts, dark bread and toast, light coffee grounds
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas together fairly toasty with a mild roastiness; subtle aftertaste of coffee and dark bread
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also some roasty character abrasion; finishes roasty, earthy and dark malty
Overall: decent enough dark lager I believe I could come back to.

Draft. Deep brown. Frothy beige, diminishing. Aroma of roasted malts, light chocolate and coffee. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dry, lightly to moderately bitter finish. Clean.

Sampled from the tap at Milk and Hops. Pours a near clear deep brown with a gray head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has dark grains with a bit of chocolate and light roast supporting. Flavor has earthy dark grains and roast with a hint of chocolate underlying.

Milk and Hops: pours black with a tan head. Aroma is light nuttiness and chocolate. Taste is sweet and chocolatey and coffee and stuff. Chewy aftertaste.
