Bottle. Hazy golden body with an off-white, frothy head. Aroma of fruit, toasted grain, alcohol. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, syrupy texture, moderate carbonation. Fruit (pear and cherry) taste. Boozy. No saison nuances. A clunky, sticky, sweet mess. Fulton’s description says the beer defies classification and convention. True, except for one: Drain pour.

12 ounce bottle, 9/28/16. Slightly hazy amber, thin foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of spice, candi sugar, bready malt, apples. The taste is bready malt, citrus, apples, yeast, spice, strawberry. Medium bodied, lingering spice. A little rough and rustic, but a solid beer.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-copper body. Off-putting initial aroma. Big bready malt tones. Pretty much a "Belgian Ale" at this point, not really many Saison characteristics left. Almost has some honey edges. Drinks like a big Imperial Lager...sugary and thick. Not outright bad, but the aroma really brings it down.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy Belgian yeast with sweet grains and touches of grass and flora. Flavor combines earthy grass with some grain and a growing flora note.
