This Belgian Dubbel is one of our favorites. The dark amber color displays the depth of this beer. the nose of almost pure brandy, lingering and distinct. Upfront the sweetness starts with a very full mouth feel. a wonderful raisin flavor through the middle finishing balanced and dry.

Draft. Murky amber body. Frothy, white head. Aroma of sweet caramel with a hint of Belgian yeast. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation. Light taste of Belgian yeast and bigger taste of homebrew twang. Overly sweet and at the same time missing the maltiness and mustiness of a classic dubbel.

Tap at brewery. Belgian yeast, fruity caramel malt, and subtle vanilla aroma. Deep amber with a small off-white head. Musty Belgian yeast, sweet fruity banana, and toasty malt flavor. Medium body and carbonation. Alcohol very well hidden.
