Bottle. A- Banana, wheat, spices. A- Golden color, cloudy liquid, white head. T- Banana, bubblegum, spices, wheat. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, wheaty finish. O- I like the name they use now with a cow on the bottle and calling it a Hefe R Weizen. Cleverly played. A pretty standard hefe in taste. Lots of bubblegum and banana. I could drink it although I wouldn’t seek it.

Twin Cities Beer Festival. A very light hefeweizen with very little flavor or aroma. I can pick up the wheat, but bubblegum, clove, banana, or wheat sweetness are all missing. Virtually flavorless.

Bottle. Cloudy, deep gold body with orange highlights. Fizzy white head that quickly disappears to nothing. Aroma of clove, banana, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly tart. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Taste of wheat, clove and bubble gum that is unfortunately overshadowed by a solvent taste that lingers into the finish. The off-flavor is not overly strong, but it’s enough to be a distraction. In addition, this hefe is overly sweet.

12 ounce bottle from pepsican. Thanks! Pours a murky orange color with a medium sized fizzy off-white head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of wheat, banana, dust, clay and spice. The taste is fairly strong clove with wheat, banana, pineapple. Medium bodied. Decent hefe.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Labeled as Millstream’s "Hefe-r-Weissen". Pours with a small white head over a hazy golden body. Aroma of styrofoam, lemon, clove and plastic. Taste is honey, wheat, lemon and vanilla. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel.

Sample at the Millstream Brewhaus in Eastern Iowa airport. The beer is a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thin bone white head that dissipates steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bananas and wheat. Light and clean body with flavors of wheat, banana and mild spices. The finish is wheaty with a mild fruit aftertaste. Run-of-the-mill Hefe overall.

12oz bottle. My first beer from Iowa. Hazy golden-yellow straw appearance. Orange vanilla aroma, maybe some peach. The taste is a little off, but the Hefe yeast is quite forgiving. Sort of crossing the line over into White Ale territory, very smooth and yeasty. Tangy orange citrus finish. Sub par stuff all the way, but may be better brewery fresh.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of wheat, malt, and oranges, as well as light notes of spices. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of spices and oranges, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks to Papsoe for sharing.
