An English Style Extra Special Bitter. Brewed with Maris Otter and Carastan malts from Great Britain, providing a toasty, full bodied malt flavor and a deep copper color. Balanced with English Nugget and Goldings hops from East Kent which yield their subtle fragrant qualities to this classic English Style ale. Fermented with an European ale yeast giving fruity esters with a dry finish.

Draft. Deep amber body with a short, fizzy white head. Aroma of toasted grain, caramel, herbs. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. The caramel notes of classic English style ESBs are muted in this beer by the bitterness which lingers into the finish. Hop flavors are muted as well.
