The Aromas of roast, dark malt, minerals, molasses and a little metallic & whiskey are the best part. Flavors are similar to nose, sweet with a little whiskey and bitter coming on towards the Finish. Whiskey for sure, but no way I could say Rye. Decent sweet whiskey Imperial Stout.

ABV: 11.6%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, chocolate - vanilla, coffee, barrel, alcohol - whisky - rye whisky. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, barrel, dark malt, sweet malt, roasted - coffee, chocolate - vanilla, cocoa, dark chocolate. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20200118]

On tap at Bierlokaal de Uiver. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of loads of sweet bourbon, vanilla, roast, dark chocolate, caramel. Flavour is light boozy, bourbon, vanilla, oak, dark chocolate, caramel, roast, bitter finish. Medium to full bodied. Tasty.

Tap @ Rbabarrab. Black with a small light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa and light whisky. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 110919
