Aged in Rye Whiskey barrels, our workhorse of a Stout oozes smooth layers of chocolate and entwines with sharp notes of rye that are rounded out with ample aging in American oak. Enjoy!

I still don't really like rye, and this has a lot of it. Base stout is very flavourful, bit of coffee, smooth and thick. The barrels used overpower it quite a bit, making it sharp, and adding lots and lots of rye. Too much of it.

RB backlog. Intense coconut, vanilla, licorice, a bit earthy and humid, rye whisky. Mildly sweet start, toasty and quite intensely tartish. Great balance for the strength.
