Pitch black 2 finger cream head. A lot of coffee and cream. Very sweet and this is pretty amazing. The coffee is Isanely fresh. Creamy and roasted just dominate with a lot of chocolate.

Bottle. Coffee, dark chocolate malt and hay aroma. Dark black-brown with minimal head. Sweet chocolate fudge malt, coffee, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice.

Pitch black color with a thick tan head. Rich coffee aroma. Full body. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Soft carbonation and a bit oily texture. Powerful and smoooth stuff. Rich coffee/espresso with notes of chocolate and vanilla. Maybe a bit one dimensional. But that is really nice sometimes. Lovely powerful stout. Well masked alcohol.

Heavy coffee stout with light beige, creamy head and ink black colour. Aroma obviously very, very coffee-like, like freshly ground coffee beans, but also liquorice (or rather ’drop’), chocolate, toast, bark, brambleberries. Pleasant bitter sweet taste, strong roasted bitterness, coffee ubiquitous, liquorice also quite dominant, bitter chocolate malt base, smooth and oily mouthfeel, roasted bitter finish with very well-hidden alcohol. A mighty fine stout from a very interesting and creative brewery.
