Pours a black colour with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark fruits, coffee beans, dark chocolate. Flavour is strong coffee, ripe fruit. Smooth stout with a relatively dry finish. I enjoyed this one very much.

Аромат весьма сухой, много кофе и кофейных зерен, намеки на шоколад и бочку, немного алкоголя и горячи, в целом очень крепкий. Цвет черный, весьма густой. Вкус тоже очень крепкий с характером особенно на глотке. Уже больше шоколада, но кофе на месте, немного бобов даже, намеки на изюм и сливу. Алкашка прям с горечью при послевкусие, сухость средняя. В целом не лучший стаут что пил.

Bottle. Still a lot of coffee, caramel, toffee, light sherry and earthy. Soft boozy. Medium bodied. Still lovely.

24 June 2021. At Slot Oostende, Goes. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy black, small, foamy, beige head. Aroma of dried fig, prune, sweetened fondant, fried mushroom, creamy espresso, soy, black olive. Taste has sweetish fig, prune & raisin, vague pear; chocolatey malty character connecting with bittersweet espresso along an earthy-umami sideline of soy and fried porcini. Earthy hoppy finish, dried fruit, espresso and tobacco accent, some warming brandy alcohol. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Does balance on that weird line between roastiness and 'wild' earthiness but I can't kick it for that.

Bottle from Bierothek. Oily Black with a light brown head. Sweet Karo dark syrup nose with hints of coffee and roasted grain. Flavor is complex, touch of umami on a smooth layered concoction that goes from sweet brown sugar to full to roasty-bitter at the end. I don't get a lot of coffee but that's okay with just a hint of it.
