23/12/2022. Can from Flavourly.com. Pours slightly hazy pale yellow gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is pithy, citrus, lightly tropical, grape must, grass. Moderate sweetness, initial bitterness fades, slight tart edge. Light body, watery, fizzy. Crisp. Basic.

Earthy slightly herbal and resinous aroma. Slight bready flavour with fair bitterness from the NZ hops. Not overly inspiring, but not bad either.

330ml can. Hazy orange-gold, medium frothy white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma of grapes, dank yeastiness, citrus. Taste is white grapes, light citrus, biscuit malts, nice level of bitterness. Decent malty body for a 4% beer. Lacks complexity but for what ingredient's there are, it hits the right notes. Its a reasonable pale ale.

Really nice bitter pale ale, with an aroma which hints at grapes and some yeast, after pouring a hazy, pale gold / deep straw colour. The flavour starts out with some light, biscuit malt before moving onto a mellow citrus fruit backbone and a lovely dry bitterness, and an almost puckering finish. No major hop character beyond the bitterness, but a proper decent session pale ale
