Bottle from Warwick Real Ale. Appearance - bright amber with a big creamy off-white head. Nose - grainy, earthy, wet grass. Finally, a bit of toffee coming through. Taste - metallic toffee. Burnt bread. Palate - light bodied, dry middle and finish. Overall - a bit challenging, this one.

500ml bottle from the brewer. Clear gold, thin head, retention ok. Aroma of light citrus, herbs and grain. Taste starts with a sharp citrus and herb note then a very grainy lager flavour, semi-sweet, moderate bitterness in the finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. Its ok but could be more tasty.
