Bottle from Morrisons. Deep amber in colour, with a small, off-white, head. Hedgerow hops red berries and oranges, a touch of caramel, ripe malts and a moderately bitter finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear copper colour with a medium sized creamy white head. Aromas of caramel, fruit cake, toasty brown bread and a little spice. Taste has more of the same notes with a touch of roasted malts on the bittersweet finish. Nicely balanced. Medium to full body with a smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Enjoying this nice beer.

Bottle at 6%. Pours amber with small head and a fading retention. Bready caramel malts with a mild hoppy spice aroma. Taste is like a chewy toffee malt bomb, quite sweet. Finish carries that sweetness to partly offset a decent bitterness and a very mild hoppy spice note at the end. Its decent stuff and a nice change from some of the hoppy session IPAs and NEIPAs recently consumed. It does lack something to elevate it to another level, maybe a dark fruity note or an increase in the level of that spiciness.
