Bottle pour at Bottlecraft, pours a deep dark ruby / mahogany. Aroma is intense, full of liqueur-covered strawberries, with vanilla and treacly syrup. Flavour follows suit, with intense, liqueur-coated strawberries, vanilla, white chocolate and honey. Very sweet, but tastefully so. Wonderful incorporation of the strawberries. Phenomenal.

Aroma is slightly concentrated sweet sour-ish fruity, sour strawberries, strawberry jam, minerals, alcohol, dark berry syrup, dark honey, oak, grass, hints of white chocolate. Taste is concentrated sweet sour-ish fruity, strawberry jam, sour strawberries, dark berry syrup, dark sugar, honey, berry skin, minerals, alcohol, burnt sugar, oak, grass, hints of white chocolate. Sweet concentrated fruity mouthfeel. Lovely.

Bottle thanks to the Boise crew. Pours a reddish hue with some legs. A huge, maybe one of the best noses ever; pure strawberry. Sweet, slick, big berries, some oak, light chocolate. Wow. Just amazing.

Bottle bought @ the source through a proxy. 2016 vintage. Extremely deep red pour leaving plenty of sticky legs on the glass. Intense smell of the strawberry jam grandma made when I was young (going to her funeral this Thursday so that hit close to home), light floral honey, vanilla, oak, minerals & alcohol. Sweet, sour & heavy fruity taste. Viscous & oily mouthfeel. Simple but perfect.

Thnx to erik for the leftover share !!! Pours very dark brownred, rather clear. Smell is hugely chocolate-covered strawberry. Very intense. Almost like a syrup / liquor like intensity. Taste is very full, silky smooth, intense strawberry. Of course its sweet, its a mead, but not overly sweet , sugary nor chemical. This is just an amped up, very intense strawberry flavored mead with an intense thick body, aka all the great stuff you could imagine. A real sipper, but a true pleasurefull one. Still more of a fan off the natural ( oak aged ) meads more than the fruit infused american variants, but this def is up the very high end of all the meads i’ve had from the US of A. Nice !

Bottle 303 of 410 thanks to Steve. Flat light brown pour. aroma is big full chocolate and strawberries. Taste is exactly that strawberries and chocolate, coupled with a nice silkt texture. Truly sublime.

Sweet bottle 303 of 410 thanks to Steve. Pours out a brown no head. Nose is amazing wow strawberry white chocolate honey sweetness. Taste is more of the heavy sweetness rich berries white chocolate wow this crazy.

50cl ceramic swing top bottle pours with a brown to mahogany colored body that leaves behind some nice legginess. The aroma offers up sweet honey, rich deep berry fruitiness, soft thin vanilla and then a nice fig to date sensation. The taste delivers smooth sweetness leading to berry rich fruitiness that has a clear nectar sweet edge to it. It just gets vanilla and rich berry and strawberry and pure yum! Wow. This is amazing.
