Bottle shared on the roof at home, thanks to Maakun and French trader guy, much love. Pale straw with white bubbles. Unclear golden with some bubbles. Watery sweet pears, floral notes, green notes, leaves, kiwi, lemon, light basil. Moderate sweet and bitter, very dry. Medium body and soft carbonation. --- Beer merged from original tick of Poiré Domfront on 12 Jul 2019 at 01:23 - Score: 8. Original review text: Very nice and quite complex poiré

Bottle shared. Thanks to VDuquerroux for the trade. Clear pale yellow/lime, very light color and small white head. Light mineral and funky, grassy, very dry tart pear skins, dry cellar, soft fireworks, gooseberries, very dry citrus peel, soft flowery, some more dry tart pear. Light sour, very light bitter, almost no sweetness. About medium bodied, bone dry. It’s nice and full of character, though personally I think a little fruity sweetness would make it better.
