2018: Honinghout (500ml / 6% alc.) is een op hout gerijpte cider met honing en tonen van vanille en whiskey. Deze cider is het resultaat van een nauwkeurige selectie van rijpe valappels uit de Appelgaard te Westerbroek in combinatie met een grote verscheidenheid aan door onze appeldonateurs ingebrachte appels. Rijping op hout geeft deze cider een zachte en volle smaak, die versterkt wordt door de zoetheid van honing. Honinghout is een cider zonder bubbels.

Handpump at bier en cider festival Utrecht. Hazy golden with a small ring of bubbles. Sweet apple, moldy apple, light tart apple, a touch of honey, dry wood, light earthy, soft alcohol. Quite juicy, but also some funk, spiced, aromatic wood and flowers. Under medium sweet, light tart and bitter. Medium bodied and flat. Quite OK.

Handpump at Molen De Ster. Hazy dark golden with white head. Sweet flevosap unfiltered applejuice, sweet red apples and some meally yellow ones, some oak, apple stems, sweet honey in the finish. Nice fruity lemonadey vibes. Ice tea. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and low carbonation.
