Can. Black. Malt, roast, caramel, vanilla, whisky and oak in the aroma. Has thinned because of the barrel aging. Sweet, low on carbon. Caramel, tobacco, laurel. Salted licorice, vanilla, oak and whisky. Nice one.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, a few tan bubbles. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate malts, whisper of coffee. A touch of wet wood under some slightly dank fruity whiskey. Semi dry and mildly spicy finish. There is nothing wrong with this, no off flavours at all and yet it just lacks a fundamental cohesiveness. So it’s good but it’s not great.

Can shared at THT June. Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Roasty and grainy, whisky. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation.

@ KJUBZT tasting June 2019. Black as, ehm, Motorolie. Little brownish head. Aroma's: a bit glue, roasted malts. Retronasal: roasted, umami, a bit glue, sweetish. Flavour is moderate sweet and smoky. Full bodied. Long finish. The glue is a bit off-putting, but not overwhelming, fortunately.
