An Imperial dessert stout with fresh flavours from raspberries, passionfruit, and toasted coconut.
Taste: A sweet raspberry beginning builds on a chewy, burnt toffee malt backbone and hints of chocolate and roasted malts. Gentle fruity acidity then follows after from passionfruit, before leaving a smooth and creamy long lasting finish, mixed with coconut and bourbon vanilla.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black body with a small beige head. Aroma of dark malt, chocolate and hint of berries. Taste is sweet, but pleasant, dark malt, chocolate, red berries, blackberries and reading coconut without being able to detect that. Fine body and long lasting sweet aftertaste. Very nice and balanced dessert beer.

Bottle picked up from The Drunken Monkey Craft Beer Shop, Augsburg and consumed at Campsite Karwendelcamp, Scharnitz, Austria Thursday 9th July 2020 sat outside Frank, we had a wonderful Yotam Ottelenghi Khofta meal for tea tonight. This is another stunner from Pohjala, they really are at the top of their game where Impy Stouts are concerned. Fruity with nice traces of raspberry, roasty and some light coffee touches. Smooth, indulgent, marvellous.

Bottle. A- Cocoa, fruity. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal head. T- Roasty, fruity, cocoa, slightly bitter. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, slightly unbalanced finish. O- Coconut in a stout...good, raspberry in a stout...okay, passionfruit in a stout...getting weird, all three combined in a stout...what in the unusual brew. I went in to this with an open mind and I guess I got all three ingredients but it came across as a general berry fruitiness. Not a huge fan but it was drinkable. A bit too novelty for me.

On tap @ Easy Beer. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, caramel and coconuts. Pours pitch black color with thin creamy light brown head and poor lacing. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt and chocolate, follows by tart berries and notes of nuts and licorice, mouthfeel is warm, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Masked beast...
