An Imperial dessert stout with fresh flavours from raspberries, passionfruit, and toasted coconut.
Taste: A sweet raspberry beginning builds on a chewy, burnt toffee malt backbone and hints of chocolate and roasted malts. Gentle fruity acidity then follows after from passionfruit, before leaving a smooth and creamy long lasting finish, mixed with coconut and bourbon vanilla.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is full of tart raspberries upfront, with a hint of passionfruit, and a hint of coconut. Flavour is full of raspberries and passionfruit upfront, with rich chocolatey malt. Can't say I get coconut in here. It's mostly raspberries and molasses. Not really what I seek out in an impie stout, but I dig it.

0,33 flaske med konsentrert inspirasjonsmiddel mens jeg sitter hjemme og renskriver notatene fra årets siste Mi2 på Cardinal, dette trygge tempel for pleie av den sunne og formålsløse glede: nesten helt svart med ok skum. Supersaftig og fyldig med mørke malter, dessertsjokolader, bringebær, lakris, pasjonsfrukt, kokos osv (høres nesten ut som jeg har åpnet en pose Twist). Buteljen var innkjøpt på nærbutikken i Verksgata i dag.

12 ounce bottle from Johns. Pours a pitch black hue with a small light beige brown head. A big sticky sweet nose, smoke, roast. The flavor works well because the base is so big: rich, big smoky dark malts, roast, some vanilla, not getting much or any coconut, more dark fruit essence. Lovely. Reminds me a bit of Darkness.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of huge sweet black chocolate notes with some nice fruity undertones is quite enticing. Taste is also a mix of sweet black chocolate notes with some well-balanced mix of fruity notes with subtle coconut notes also perceptible. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with no real apparent alcohol notes. This is quite the dessert stout.
