Our very first imperial stout was a big one. Hannah and Andrew bought back 20kg of Vientamese coffee from our honeymoon and decided to make a big imperial stout out of it. We fell in love with Vietnam the people the food and the coffee. This is pretty much Vietnamese coffee in beer form! Using 10 different malts and a lot of coffee. vô!

500ml bottle from somewhere in Melbourne in 2019. Poured a clear almost black colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, dry coffee, liqourice, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tall can from Bottle Shop camping on Sharp Island. Aroma is coffee and roasted dark chocolate. Taste is powdery dark chocolate with rich coffee and sweet milk creaminess. Palate is rich and slightly chalky, finish is bitter coffee. Nice.

On tap at Vultures Lane. Pours opaque black with a nice fluffy head. Coffee, cherry, that acidity you get with coffee, chocolate, plums. Nice bitterness, slight acidity, little sweetness. Tasty.
