On tap at Sprig and Fern, Hardy St. Pours dark amber. Coffee, oak, a touch of smoke, some whisky notes, molasses. Something like a rich coffee cake. Good full body. Nice.

(On tap) Clear reddish brown with reasonable tan head. Little aroma, maybe a hint of bread. Medium body, medium carbonation. Flavour is malt and toffee with some dark roast / burnt notes in the finish. Easy drinking.

Bottled. A brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, nuts, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of nuts, caramel, and bread, leading to a dry finish.
