Can. A lightly unclear dark brown beer with a reddish hue. Close to no head, just some beige bubbles around the rim. It's quite burnt on the nose, with oat, coffee and a vague touch of corn flakes. Lactose-sweet flavor with roasted malts, coffee and charcoal. Medium body, soft and rather low on carbonation, with a lasting roasted, burnt finish. Sure a decent and tasteful one, but sort of too weird I think. 181216

Small slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, toast, roasted grain, cereal, hay, chocolate, minerals, caramel, weeds, hints of coffee and licorice. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, toast, hay, roasted grain, minerals, chocolate, lactose, grass, bark, paper, soil, hints of burnt coffee. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough.

From a 330ml can on 12/8/2018. Pours a deep brown with a biggish head. The nose is light chocolate with a touch of cola. In the mouth, it gives you milk chocolate, lactose and a touch a cereal like flavour, finished off by a very mild bitterness. The palate is a touch thin, yet slightly creamy (if that makes sense) and the carbonation barely there. This is my third nitro beer of the weekend, and it's not added to the experience. The beer itself is not too bad, but not particularly memorable.

330ml can into glass. Pours a deep dark black with a tightly packed coffee-coloured head. Aroma is coffee. Smooth texture, light body. Sweet but not overly so. Finish is like iced coffee more than breakfast cereal. Nice light stout that looks good.
