On tap at La Cidrerie du Canal, pours a clear copper golden with a small white head. Nose has plenty of champagne-like character, intense rose, and apple juice. Flavour is medium sweet, with intense rose that dominates, along with sweet apple juice, and a touch of champagne-like effervescence. Not exactly refined or complex but I do dig that rose character.

Bottle pour. Clear golden, massive rose petals in the nose. Light sweet apples and floral rose notes. Lovely romantic picnic vibes. Moderate sweet and bitter, light tart. Medium body and soft carbonation. Fluffy soft feel. Lovely surprise to taste how well the rose aroma works. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre à La Rose on 04 Jun 2019 at 16:39 - Score: 8. Bottle sampled at Cider festival. Slight hazy golden with small white head. Sweet apple, roses, light funk, sweet flowers, pear, fresh apple juice. Medium sweet and light tart. Medium bodied. It’s weird but it works quite well actually.
