Can. Poured a dark brown, almost black, rather oily. Nose is lots of oily soy sauce, charcoal, wood. Quite burnt, lots of soy umami (more than I like), dark chocolate. Body is a bit thing. Decent but doesn't really move me.

Thanks to Taboada in the Euro Beer Swap 2019-2 Thick tight fluffy tan head stayed on a black still body - looks tremendous! Vanilla, malt, cocoa & chocolate aroma. Medium bodied, slightly sparkling over the palate with a lovely creamy back & cloying aft. Lactose, sugar, malt, coffee, plum, vanilla & spices tastes with a tangy sweet citrus finish.

Rund malziger, röstig herber Beginn, weich. Bitterschokolade, steigende Intensität, vollmundig. Würzig malziger, mild herber Mittelteil. Minimal Vanille, rund, trockener, nicht störender Abgang. Mittellanger Nachgeschmack, süffig, etwas herb, harmonisch. 11/12/11/12/12/12

13-04-19 // tap at Stone Brewing Tap Room Black and dark roasted malts. Good mouthfeel. Classic woth a a light smoke touch and hints of vanilla. Good.

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 16/03/2019 at Barcelona Beer Festival 2019, (L´Hospitalet, Spain). Dark brown colour with a medium tan head. Good Lasting. Aroma is coffee beans, licorice, roasted malts and some plums. Taste is coffee beans, liquor and licorice. Some vanilla on the finish. Good roasty. Next one please!
