In celebration of The Rare Barrel turning 5 we blended up a spirited concoction. Reminiscent of a mule, our 5th Anniversary Sour, mixes sour beers aged in bourbon barrels with a kick of ginger and a buck of lime zest. While 5 years of making beers is no small feat, this is really just the beginning of our decades long experiment.

Big bottle at the Beer Jerk Bunker bottle share, thanks to Emma. Pours gold. Ginger, lime, lots of ginger and lime, touch of vanilla bourbon stuff. Medium body. Well balanced if not quite the complexity of others I've had from the brewery.
