Denn was hier in Nase, Zunge, Gaumen kommt ist mächtig. Mal leise, mal laut, mal sanft, mal hart. Aber immer mächtig. So wie El Patrón eben.

Austrian single hop DIPA with Mosaic, longneck bottle with quite sober label, from Beerdome. Papery lacing, cream white, medium thick, densely moussy, largely stable head on a hazy orange blonde beer with deep 'old gold' edges. Generous aroma of pink grapefruit, mango cubes, orange peel, biscuit, sweet paprika, toasted onions, kumquat, sweet cherry tomatoes, rambutan, rainwater. Fruity flavour, colourful mango, tangerine and pineapple notes with mainly sweet character, softly carbonated, lean and oily mouthfeel - but lacking a bit in body due to actually being too softly carbonated. Slick biscuity, bit honey-edged malt sweet main stage gradually seeped in very elegant, aromatic hoppiness, reminiscent of guava, lots of sweet citrus fruit, mango and rambutan; bitterness is spicy and paprika-like but altogether remains soft and mellow, allowing for a great deal of malt sweetness to pass through, warmed up by a dash of gin-like alcohol. Easily drinkable, accessible, elegant example of a style I prefer a bit more harshly bitter - but that's just me being old school, this is very well made, apart perhaps from the undercarbonation.

Bottle, 2 month past BB. Cloudy orange, golden cream. Fresh tropical/apricot/pine aroma. Medium body, light resinny and fruit sirup stickiness, piney bitterness on tropical fruit compote, minimal signs of aging, sparkly mango Schorle finish. Quite drinkable and pleasant very fruity IIPA.

Caña en Cimmeria 06..12..2017. (r16). Fina, algo densa y pastosa. Bastante buena para repetir.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and medium-sized foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit, citrus and tropical elements such as passion fruit, backed by wheaty and mineralic hints. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Fruit-accented, slightly tropical hoppy taste with mineralic notes; fruity hoppy finisdh with notes of grapefruit, passion fruit, the alcoholic strength is dangerously muted. Nice. 30.IX.17

Sample at Tribaun Innsbruck said to be 8.9%. Golden color slight hazed, short fine head.. Aroma is very big, hoppy, lavender, soap, sandalwood, grapefruit, mango, apricot/peach, candies. Lots of specialty hops resin, i think due to Galaxy. Huge malt backing, burning alcohol. Full bodied, thick, average carbonation, complex taste, dry finish with solvent and soap. Not an easy one, powerful, potent
