Can, from Beer On The Wall, Elmhurst IL. Pours murjy burgundy red with a very small frothy whitish head, sweet berry aroma, high carbonation, mildly sweet blueberry-raspberry flavored semi tart brew with lactose, thick body with particules, like a slushy, long berry finish. Quite like drinking a cocktail.

Aromas are raspberries, malt and floral. Flavors are similar to nose with a bittersweet jamminess. Full-bodied and good carbonation. But raspberry totally dominates. Time and again I see it where when raspberries are included they dominate everything else. I don't understand why brewmasters don't get it. I think this would have been better if the raspberries wouldn't have dominated and the other qualities showed up more. My two cents.

Can, courtesy of trade, thanks to Garrett. Pours an absurd deep purple, with a bright pink head and noticeable fruit purée round the rim. Raspberry, blackcurrant, so much blackcurrant, huge berry jamminess, lots of raspberry and blueberry, little tangy sharpness and some astringency from the blackcurrant, though that dies off as it warms. Huge thick body. Almost overwhelming, and the balance of the fruits doesn't lean quite right, with too much blackcurrant and not enough berry, but I am nitpicking. A very fun beer to drink.
