Bottle shared at the columbus tasting 22/08/2019. Many thanks! A opque brown coloured pour with a fine tan head. Aroma is woody bark, bark, brandy snap, liquorice, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of hot alcohol. apple, bourbon, warming alcohol, brown sugars. Paalte is semi sweet, liquorice, oily, moderate carboantion.

Bottle. Black. Soft roast, vanilla, oak and whiskey in the aroma. Malty sweet, floral, alcoholic, perfumed flavor. Dried fruit, oak and whiskey. Vanilla. Very tasty. Full bodied.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Cloin. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale head. Light thin and semi dry crisp palate. Thin but rich dark malts. Good dark chocolate. Little tangy dark chocolate on the finish. Tangy fruits. Not that whiskeyish. Okay.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Almost black with tan head. Licorice, sweet sugary malts, dank whiskey, dark chocolate, soft coffee, deep roast. Quite sweet and bitter. Full thick bodied. Nice.

Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, grainy whisky, boozy, hint of Kees’ green apples (while stil cold), opening up to a rich palate of sweet and bitterness, with hints of coffee and loads of chocolate, earthy and deep. Big sweet and bitter. Full body and soft carbonation. Creamy and thick. Lovely.

zwart met volle bruine kraag. aroma van chocolade, cacao, vol, zoet, whisky, smaken zijn dik, vol, romig, geroosterde en gebrande mouten, whisky, wel enorm veel alcohol in de smaak, maat veel beter dan de 2017 versie, deze is wat voller., nice.
