The ancient ancestor of the modern day Kangaroo, a VelociRabbit was notorious for herding large amounts of Beach Chickens to their demise. This lower ABV IPA is the little brother of Laser Raptors. Using the same amounts of Mosaic, Simcoe and Chinook as Laser Raptors, this beer has a powerful berry aroma and nice pine note. The oats and wheat maintain the creamy mouthfeel that Laser Raptors is known for lending the lower ABV the ability to make a crispy break just as the hops surprise your palate.

Pours a hazy, honey-orange, with mid-sized head. Aroma is dank, grassy (both senses of that word), with some citrus and tropical fruit notes. Flavor follows. Fairly sweet with a touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel seems soft and full.

Super hazy, almost fully opaque straw and raw honey coloured body with a very large-bubbled head, about four centimetres tall at first that fades fast and leaves an ugly, spotty lace on the sides. Aroma of grass, wheat, light oranges, a touch of very soft sugars, dry grain and some light pepper (spicey) and lemons, too. Light to Medium-bodied; Rich hops show at first with some pine, dry grassy and herbal notes, with some citrus - both orange and acidic lemons, too...all with some very light alcohol and pepper notes, but those are subdued. Aftertaste is very clean and dry with a soft and structured hop character, a steady dose of fruits, which give off a nice sweetness and some subtle acidity, all balanced effectively by the lightish malts and showing just about no alcohol at all, but some nice complexities from the flavours and a touch of body. Overall, a nice beer, again, a lower alcohol IPA from Aslin that isn't as nice as some of their others, but full of flavours, but very easy-drinking and still complex. Great to try and worth trying to find if you like their other similar beers! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 02-September-2020 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-September-2020.

The aromas are fresh citrus and melon hops with a hint of resin plus some straw and dust. Flavors are similar to nose, a touch sweet upfront with growing resin and bitter towards the end. Slightly chewy texture decent body and lingering bitter on the tongue in the finish.
