New England Style Double IPA
Northern Heights is brewed with wheat and oats, then double dry-hopped with Mosaic and Citra hops. It is the result of an evolution of craft brewing that began in a shed in the northern woods of Vermont and has culminated in a definitive and well balanced ale that will take your perception of a Double IPA to new heights.

Can from tfontana in this trade, thanks big pimp! Aroma is mild dank hints with some grapefruit rind. I did let this bitch warm up a bit. Citrus flavors are most dominant with hints of earthy dank in the finish. Good amount of bitterness for balance. Definitely better than the draft sample I had at the brewery several years back.

Can (4/22/20) pour from Tuckaway Tavern, Raymond. Appearance is opaque yellow-orange (orange juice dead ringer) with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width foamy white head with good retention and light leopard-spot lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, tangerine, apricot. Taste follows aroma; citrus dominant. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation, mild alcohol warmth as it warms and crisp, fairly dry finish as taste with lingering mild bitterness. Overall, perfect look, aroma is stronger and more interesting than taste and it's a bit overcarbonated. But, it's very well made.

This beer is top, much like these Blues 90's throwback jerseys.

Can shared in London - picked up in the US. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Pithy grapefruit abounds, with lemon rind, dried pale malts. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lovely, fresh pithy citrus finish. Great DIPA.

Bottleshare at Craft Islington. Can. Big thanks to LKS. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness. Smooth light pine. Little fresh orange and mild lemon. Modest tropical fruits. Light smooth piney finish. Nice but lacks that hop edge of the best.
