Northern Heights is brewed with wheat and oats, then double dry-hopped with Mosaic and Citra hops. It is the result of an evolution of craft brewing that began in a shed in the northern woods of Vermont and has culminated in a definitive and well balanced ale that will take your perception of a Double IPA to new heights.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: glossy orange haziness with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some sly messy lace
Aroma: swift citrusy to piney and grassy hops meshing with a sly tropical fruity hops, mild bready malts
Flavor: bittersweet juicy hoppiness - well blended, mild aftertaste of citrusy and piney-ness
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under, leans toward being a sipper, finishes fruity hopped toned with a sly crisp-ness to it
Overall: nicely done NEDIPA worthy of returning to.

Goblet at Slash Run, pours a murky orange with some lacey white head. Nose has mango, melon, bubblegum, some lactose and vanilla. Flavor has oranges and melon to compliment the mango and some guava now, a little soap and some herbs. Full bodied, off dry finish.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a hazy, straw gold with a quickly dissipating finger of white head. Some crushed pineapple, citrus and passionfruit notes on the nose. More of the same on the palate. I get some Citra...abv hidden well. A bit sharp on the finish, but not bad.
