We aged Forge, our Imperial Stout, in Rye barrels hailing from a distillery in Vermont. The huge notes of vanilla and toffee from the barrels meld wonderfully with the chocolate and dried fruit notes of Forge, creating a beer worthy of sharing with friends.

Bottle. Pours dark with a tan cap. Chocolate, biscuit, roast, vanilla, cherry, dry spice, Christmas cake, bourbon, touch of booze, dark chocolate. Good full body. Excellent.
