Bottle, courtesy of mansquito. Pours bright orange. Brett, funk, tangerine, barnyard, marzipan, honey. Medium body. Perhaps a bit more heavy handed than I would like, but still a good beer.

On tap at Black Sheep Charleston. Slightly hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is light malt, medium body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light malt, Brett, and yeast. If a Brett saison and a malty tripel had a baby this would be it.

Bottle from Weihenweizen: pours clear gold with white head. Aroma is earthy, hints of grape, mildly funky. This kind of reminds me of my father's home brewed saisons (better certainly, but it has a certain feel). Taste is yeasty, and the brett is not overwhelming, but still adds that signature earthy touch. Booze is surprisingly well covered. Would not have in any world guessed the 8.9%. Still it is sweet and heavier than your average saison if you really think about it.
