Can from Holiday Market. Pours a clear gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Digging the hops in this. Clean beers are such a great vehicle for Kiwi hops. Durian, starfruit, lime, berry and citrus pith all live and direct.

Can, courtesy of mansquito. Pours slightly hazy straw. Grapefruit, passionfruit, lemon, floral. Medium body. My kind of pils.

Can from Herndon: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is juicy, fruity Pacific hops. Nice citrus generally. Flowery and fruity taste. A bit sweet. Low bitterness. Solid.

Perfectly clear golden, copper and orange coloured body with a nice peach glow, all with a very thin, super fast-dying off-white head, one centimetre tall that goes to nothing. Aroma of citrus, white wine, grass, flowers, light lager yeast and a lot of perfume. Light-bodied; Very effervescent up front with a super bitter bite, some pungent grass, flowers and smooth dryness all from the hops, with a light malt note from biscuits and bread, all with some noticeable alcohol warmth at the end. Aftertaste shows the deep hop bitterness and a touch of the alcohol towards the end, but aside from that and a perfumey white wine note, not much else in terms of complexity. Overall, a decent beer, but nothing special, which is slightly disappointing, as all other Aslin beers I've had are exemplary and great for the style - this is just plain and simple - average. Still, somehow nice to try on my first day back in Washington after being in South Dakota with not many options - nice to have this as an option, walkable from my house and my office! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 03-July-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-July-2020 just hours later.
