Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a slim cap of eggshell foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasty coffee tones up front, dark malts, some chocolate then a faint dose of maple
Flavor: roasty initially through the prior mentioned aromas then the maple sweet balances in underneath; mild aftertaste of roasty coffee to chocolate tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; maple helps to subjugate the roast and make this beer somewhat smooth along the tongue; finishes with faint tones of maple syrup and some roasty coffee tones
Overall: it's not a bad attempt of doing a maple porter but don't expect a ton of maple to be there. I think I could do this again for me.

Can. Pours black. Maple, chocolate, sweet, strong maple, a little too sweet as it warms. Medium body. Decent.
