Ons paradepaard, gebrouwen naar oud recept uit 1954. De Maltezer is een verwijzing naar de Maltezer orde in Malta. Al tijdens de kruistochten waren zij er om de pelgrims te beschermen en verzorgen op weg naar het Heilige land. De Orde bestaat nog steeds en zet zich in om wereldwijd hulpbehoevende te helpen. Bij iedere verkochte liter bier wordt hiervoor een donatie gedaan door de brouwerij aan de Orde in Malta.

Draft @Pieke Potloed, Maastricht. Hazy pale amber, small fizzy off-white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, caramel. Taste above medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, sugary, bit fruity. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, malty sweetbitter aftertaste, dusty notes, good strength, nice.

Bottle at home, thanks for sharing Maakun! Near clear golden with thin white head. Dry malts, raisan sweetness, grainy, slightly metallic and dusty. Moderate sweet and bitter. Bottle shared with sjogro, got this at the brewery. Clear golden with white head. 🍭 malts, light bready, vanilla, soft sugary, cara malts, crisp pils malts. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Over medium bodied with crisp feel. Surprisingly nice.
