Malted barley, oats. The equivalent to Table Beer in our range of stouts and porters. Not brewed to 'dry stout'-style, per se, but a stout that is dry. Light-bodied but not thin, with more prominent kettle-hopping and then dry-hopping to add some brightness and contrast to the roasty, biscuity, and savoury character of the dark malts.

Bottle. Darkest brown with beige head. Aroma is grassy, cat piss hops, roasted malts, coffee. Taste is tropical fruits, grassy, some roasted malts, flowery. Fruity aftertaste. A bit too light, even watery mouthfeel, but still excellent in its flavours for this ABV.

Dark brown to black colored, medium tan frothy head. Aroma is of some malt, dark chocolate, coffee,floral and citrus hops. Taste is medium sweet dark chocolate, coffee, some roasted malt, medium- floral and citrus hops, medium roasty bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit oily. 0.33l bottle from the brewery. Oh, it smells so good this. Looks pretty fantastic also with a dark lacing chocolate two-fingerthick head over a deep dark brown body. And that kernel aroma just oozes drink me! It's sweet chocolaty, yet dry. Lots of grassy elements, something that reminds a tad of tea, lots of licorice and it's well roasted. Lovely nose in such a lightweighter. The licorice dominates the taste also. It's mild oily in the mouth and it's just below average on the carbonation. Really nicely roasted with coffee and chocolate bitterness. This is scary sessional, something I could easily have quite a few of in one setting. Top notch! 28.11.2015

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate citrus hoppy aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor with citrus hoppy bitter hints. Has a roasted malty chocolate citrus bitter hoppy finish.

[ As The Kernel Dry Stout Mosaic ].Clear dark black brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, dsuty malt - hops, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus, light pine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, dry, dark malt, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150815]

Opaque dark brown to black color, medium to full sized foamy light brown colored head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is lightly malts, hugely hoppy and lightly tropical fruits. Taste malts, light roast, again hugely hoppy, nice malt and hop bitter. Full flavoured with a good body and medium carbonation. Superb dry stout!

27.12.2015: 0,33l bottle at home from trade with minutemat, big thanks. Bottled 22.07.2015. BB 22.07.2016. black color, small tan head. light notes of roast, earthy, licorice, some tropical fruits, smells creamy, nice smell. light body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, earthy, roast, some licorice, light herbal, some bitter chocolate. finishes quite dry and with a long lasting bitterness / roast notes with coffee and some earthy notes. quite nice one, especially for the ABV.
Rerate 13.09.2025: 0,2l from tap at Darcy's, Copenhagen. black color, small tan head. Smells very fruity, earthy, herbal, peppery. Nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation. Tastes earthy, toffee, roasty, peppery, marzipan, nutty. Finishes lightly dry and light to medium roasty bitter with notes of pepper, tobacco and earthy notes. Very nice one, good to drink
