330 ml bottle from Stranda Ski Resort in Stranda, Norway. Pours a deep brown color with a beige head and fair retention. A few spots of lacing. Sweet nutty aroma. Sweet nutty flavor too, with a little roasted malt flavor in the finish. Light body for the style. Medium carbonation, higher than average for the style, but I like it. Not bitter. Very clean, smooth, and easily crushable.

Bottled. Coppery amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is nutty, some chocolate, sweet syrupy elements as well as some wood. Flavour is nutty, chocolaty, some mild not-too-sweet syrupy elements with a bit of wood too. Nicely dry in the palate.

Bottled 330ml (Vinmonopolet)
Ruby colour small beige head. Chocolaty, crystal malty aroma. Light-bodied. Flavour has chocolate, caramalts, light earthy hops. Very English but also not very exiciting.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Notodden. Pours hazy deep amberto chestnut coloured with an off-white head. Malty and slightly caramelly with nutty notes and hints of toasted malty. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a l ight bitterness. Quite pleasant.

Bottle. An unclear orangey brown beer with a finger-thick beige head of moderate size. Malt driven aroma with caramel sauce, bread crust, some toffee and a touch of dried fruits. It's full bodied, soft and with a low carbonation level. Caramel, bread crust and a touch of prunes in the flavor. Some toasted hints too. Long caramel finish. I prefer my beers with a bit more carbonation and complexity. Nice though. 200807

Rather thin. Tastes a little farmhousey. Which isn’t bad, but the malt body lags behind a bit too much. Vinomonopolet Oslo

Lukt: Kaffe, krydder, karamell, røsta malt. Utseende: Mørk brun. Skum/kullsyre: Tynt skum.

Kanskje litt lagringsskadet? Men ikke ille.

Brown with off white head - Malt aroma with some caramel notes - Malt body with caramel and some nice hop bitterness in the back to balance - The malt with caramel flavour goes into the finish with some nice bitterness - This was nice
