Aromatyczne chmielne piwo. Lekko tostowe i opiekane. W smaku przyjemnie goryczkowe. Ale nie jest ciezkie w piciu. Pieknie wyglada. tzn jest czarne, se spora piana ale srednio trwala. Metnosc spora bo nic przez swiatlo w szklanicy nie przeswitywalo. Polecam amatorom ciemnych IPA

330ml bottle. Hazy darkest brown colour with huge, frothy, fully lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. Fruity hoppy aroma, has notes of blackberry, blueberry, blackcurrant. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty with a touch of coffee, some liquorice, fruity hoppy overtones with a grapefruit touch, some sweat. Slightly too dull bitterness, surpressed fruitiness.

At a tasting, thanks tom, stable creamy, bubbly beige head, dark brown colour, not completely opaque, citrusy aroma with roasted coffee and a touch of leather, flavour of roasted coffee, toasted bread and dark malt, empathic but mellow bitterness. Very good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. 6%. Dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma of fruity hops, candies, licorice and a bit of roastiness. Bittersweet roasty flavor, a bit candy-ish, with some licorice a coffee hint, fruity hops and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Interesting.

Ok. Hops and roasty malt aren’t super prominent here. Pours mahagony without much head or lacing. Finishes medium bitter with a palate that gets fleshed on on the aftertaste better than the initial sip. Some dark chocolate. Tap at Churchkey.

Bottle, 10C. Black with an inch of beige head. Aroma of gooseberries, grass clippings, mocha, dark berries. Carbonation is fairly high, body is medium. Sweetish at first with lots of Kiwi tropical and grassy notes, grapefruit, some dark sugars. Dryish, fairly bitter and a tad ashy at the end. Vibrant and cheerful.

330ml bottle from Beer Ritz. Has a lovely citrus aroma that hovers above the glass with a frosty freshness. Smooth, dark body with some lovely dark malts, a touch of grapefruit and a pinching bitterness on the finish, mellowing to a biscuity dryness. An exceptional beer.

Bottle. A colablack beer with a medium, dense and beige head. The nose is balanced, dry roastiness, exotic fruits, citrusfruits, coffee and some chalk. Taste is strongly roasted, lots of grapefruity and sour bitterness, coffee. The end is dry and burned. Medium bodied, a good beer to drink. Medium bodied, nice to drink. Balance isn’t totally succesfully, lots of bitterness and roastiness. Good beer, anyway.

Cask. Very deep brown colour, close to black, with a small off-white fluffy head. Aroma is fruity, some roasted malts as well as some citrusy notes. Flavour is roasted malts, raisin, some fruits and mild caramelly and liquorice notes as well.
