Flaske 500ml. Batch 993. Fra Gulating Larvik. Delt med Egil på Nerstranda 6 Apr 16. Gyldengul. Svakt uklar. Lavt kritthvitt skum. Lett krydret aroma med spor av gjær. Smaken lett syrlig. Litt gjærpreg. Frisk & god.

Lys brun klar med høyt hvitt skum. Fruktig lukt, sammen med krydder og hvete. Middels fylde. Søtlig og bitter smak, hveten er der også, belgisk gjær og noe pepperig i avsluttningen.

Bottle. It’s a quite clear one, golden in color and with a dense, white head of fingerthick size on top. Some lacing. Very pleasant aroma with a touch of bread in the far back, but mostly it’s citrus zest and coriander seeds. Some piney hints. It’s medium to full-bodied with a very pleaseant carbonation level. High but pleasant. Quite dry and bitter, with some bready flavors in the back, and citrus zest, some orange and a good dash of coriander sees. Long, citrusy, bitter and lightly piney finish. Best wit I’ve had for a long time. Really refrshing too. 160311

500 ml bottle. Clear golden with little sediments in the bottom and a big, fluffy white head. Aroma is true to style but a bit weak. Mild fruity, coriander and some esters. Flavor is also true to style, quite refreshing and fine balanced with spices and yeast flavor. It’s essential to mix the sediments with the beer to achieve enough flavors. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Nice and easy, nothing really extra going on here, but sure a decent version of the style.

A really lovely tasty and refreshing wit!
Hazy golden color with a fine lasting white head. Very good lacing down the sides of the glass. Quite mild aroma with some coriander and wheat. Medium body and a fine mellow carbonation. Smooth nice sweetness. Wheat, mild coriander, abit citric, mild yeast and some fruity notes in the flavor.

On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Surprisingly clear, golden, with a white head. Fruity and mild wheaty aroma, a bit candy like, with a hint of yeast and Bassett’s wine gum. Moderate sweet with pleasant fruity flavours, a hint of acidity and a fairly dry finish. Tasty and sessionable, would be nice to try again in the summertime.
