Taster, on tap at the brewpub. A tan-coloured head blanketing the glass. Tawny coloured body. Aroma of dark malts, hints of ash and coffee. Nicely mix of dark malts to the taste buds including moments of chocolate and coffee. Malty ending successfully joined by pine needles. Fine bodied. Pleasant version of a porter (Oslo 15.03.2016).

Nice pleasant and easy drinkable beer.
Hazed brownish color with a fine off white head. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium (+) body and a soft (+) carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Nutty, bready, mild roasted, mild fruity and pleasant hoppy flavor.

On tap at Crowbar, Oslo. Dark, dark mahogany with a fairly modest, beige looking head. Certainly quite hoppy, more dominating in the aroma than roasted malt and dark fruits. Works out quite well in my book. Moderate sweet with somewhat mild malty and quite hoppy flavours and pleasant bitterness. Tasty, refreshing and quite enjoyable.

Fra fat (prøvebrett) på bryggeripuben. Svart. Lavt - litt farget skum. Tynn teppelacing. Beskjeden røstet aroma. Smaken balansert. Lett fruktig med en viss syrlighet. Toner ut tørt. Behagelig - men ikke noen typisk porter.
