Anti-Carnaval Tasting 2019 @ Benzai’s Gallic fortress of resistance. As limited edition. Slightly unclear dark brown with thin greyish head. Sweet roasted malts, grainy, brown breadcrust, dark fruits, light anise. Moderate sweet and bitter. Full of carbonation.

Bottle shared by a friend. Hazy copper color, short frothy head. Aroma is quite malty, cookie, caramel, slight spicy note. Malt forward in taste as well, toffee and cookie. Quite low on carbonation. Tasty though.

Geproefd bij de Oirsprong op het bier festival 2016.het is een koperkleurig bier met weinig schuim. De smaak is fruitig en zoet. Smaak is wel redelijk snel weg.

Koperkleurig bier met weinig schuim. Niet veel aroma maar wel veel smaak. Fruitig en zoet. Smaak ebt redelijk snel weg. Lekker om rustig van te genieten.

Sampled from bottle @ Oirschots Bierfestival 2016. Nice hazy reddish amber color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, sweetish fruit, overripe fruit. Taste is about the same: malts, sweetish, ripe grapes, lightly alcohol. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle @ bff16. Amber colour, small beige head. Smells sweet, malts. Tastes malts, oak, sweet, raisins, grapepeel. Full body, nice soft carbo.
