Rerate, 2 liter growler from the brewery. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of malts and caramel, hints of mild spices and dust, also a hint of green apples. Smooth flavour, distinct notes of caramel and toffee, hints of Danish pastry. The Cascade hops must have been used sparsely. Original rating: Sample from bottle at the brewery. Malty / caramel aroma. Some caramel in the flavour too, but not too sweet. Cascade hops in the finish.

Taster, served chilled from a big bottle at the brewery. Solid off-white head leaving lacing rings behind. Hazy brown coloured body. Smell of brown malts and leafy hops. Taste of mid-sweet fruity hops together with malts bringing hints of coffee and caramel. Bittersweet ending. Well balanced and fine bodied. Clean, refreshing and soft in the mouth. Well-suited for the summertime (RBNG event, Tour de Østfold 15.02.2014).

Growler, 2 liters. It pours a lightly unclear dark golden body and a small off-white head. Citrus, caramel malts and some grass in the aroma. Pine cones. The flavor has a nice bitterness as well as the same hoppyness found in the aroma. Pleasant maltyness. A bit too much carbonation, more or less full body, semi dry. Some metal in the finish. A quite tasteful and easy drinkable beer. 140215
