Draught (backlog). Deep amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, nectar, citrus and some mild bubble gum notes. Flavour is caramel, toffee and some mild floral and fruitiness. A bit on the sweet side, otherwise quite ok.

Tap@Bruuveri Hazy orange color, good creamy off-white head. Musty, fruity aroma, some overriped fruits. Medium-bodied. Creamy palate, overriped peach in the thinnish flavor (for this ABV). Sweetish and a bit messy IPA.

On tap at Panimoravintola Bruuveri, Helsinki. Amber with an off-white head. Mild hoppy and fruity aroma with malt, peaches and a hint of citrus. Medium sweet and fruity with a pleasant bitterness. A bit weak in flavour, but quite nice. Medium body with a slightly soft carbonation . Lightly bitter aftertaste. Nice IPA! hazy amber, thin head. fruity, nutty, solvent aroma. quite sharp, heavy. citrusy, fruity, malty, with same solvent notes in flavor. bitter finish. not sure what to think of this.

(Keg at SOPP’13, 20130725) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, caramell and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, fruitiness, herbalness, sweetnes and bitterness. Afteraste had solvent and bitterness. Yet another failed ale from Saimaa.

Pours murky light brown orange with no head. Looks like hot chocolate, not an IPA. Ugh, absolutely horrific appearance. Aroma of berries, malts and hops. Taste is a bit musty, hoppy and fruity with some stingy bitterness and caramel. Finish is fruity and bitter with some mustiness. The taste is not as bad as the appearance, actually pretty decent. Lots of yeastiness, perhaps this pour was the last drops of the keg.

Tap at Bruuveri, Helsinki. Colour is orange with small foamy and thick white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, hops and malts. Dull but drinkable.

SOPP 2013, Turku. A hazy, orangebrown beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma of toffee and nuts, some fruits, strawberries and red berries. Taste is quite dry, nuts, wood, some pine, medium bitterness. The aftertaste is quite dry, wooden and piney. Medium bodied, balanced carbonation, fresh. Quite nice, brittish IPA.

Aroma is quite light with grain, hints of hay, caramel and resin. Flavour is sweet with strong gluey notes, caramel, some toffee and malty notes. Palate is rather low on CO2. Not very good.
