Can, 0.5l. Deep purple / red pour, one finger frothy pink head, medium retention. Sticky broken lacing on the glass. Sweet on the nose, sugar, cherry candy, jam. Mild citrus notes in the background. Light body, medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, sticky, refreshingly fizzy. Sweet taste balanced with light sour touches. Aroma of cherry candy, molasses, jam. Marzipan, syrup, light citrus. Medium lasting finish, sticky, sugary, slightly dry. Enjoyable.

10/9/2022. Bottle at the Vojens GP beer share. From Marek. Pours clear dark red with a frothy off-white head. Nice pour. Aroma of cherry drops, plum, prune, cough syrup, plasticine, marzipan. Medium sugary sweetness, light bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Enjoyed this more than expected.

Can from random grocery shop in Hungary. Red color with medium pinkish head. Aroma of artificial cherries, marzipan, sugar. Taste is very sweet with artificial cherries, marzipan, sugar, tons of sugar. Unforunatelly not much beery inside. Bad.

50 cl can from local corner shop. Dark red with a big pink head. Sweet aroma with cherry, marzipan and sugar. Taste is very sweet. Feels less artificial than the mango beer in the same series. OK in the heat.

Barwa kompotu wiśniowego, aromat sok wiśniowy , w smaku na pierwszym planie wiśnie jak dla mnie za bardzo słodkie lekko kwaśne , całkiem przyjemne.

Dieses Bier fand ich wie das Soproni APA und das IPA auf einer ungarischen Tankstelle. Da die Dose rot war, dachte ich, dass es sich um ein Red Ale handelt, aber nach dem Geruchstest zeigte sich aber schnell, dass es sich bei Meggy, um das ungarische Wort für Kirsche handelt. Es ist ein fruchtiges, erfrischendes Getränk, das aber mit Bier nicht mehr allzu viel zu tun hatte. Es ist eher ein Kirschsaft mit leicht herben Abgang. NIcht unbedingt schlimm, aber nicht wirklich eine Freude für Bierfreunde.
