Dieser Vorläufer des Kölsch, welcher unfiltriert und trüb lange Zeit in und um Köln getrunken wurde, ist ein süffiges und nicht zu bitteres Trinkerlebnis.

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, dark golden colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, pale malty and minimally waxy, yeasty fruity aroma, hints of mirabelle and apricot. Taste is watery, sweet-ish, pale malty and yeasty fruity, hints of mirabelle and apricot. Watery texture, minimally dry palate, medium, lively carbonation. Nice composition, pretty fruity, sadly overcarbonated and a tad watery - OK.

Recht trockener, kernig getreidiger Beginn. Milde Bitterkeit, süffig, vor allem erfrischend. Leicht hefig mit bananigen Tendenzen. Gut. 8/10/9/10/8/9

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Moldy spicy aroma. Starts intense malty-spicy, yeasty, dusty. Sweetish background. Some fruity hints as well. Finish should be more balanced. Strange...

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Floral beginning, fruity with dusty parts. Mild, moderate grainy, somehow strange dusty with malty sweetness in the end.
