A good all year round pint but especially perfect in the summer. With the aroma of orange and flowery hops this is a zesty, refreshing well balance ale. Triple hopped using typical English Goldings with a late addition of Citra.

50cl Fkes op Brownscombe Glamping (jaja). Mistig goudamber kleur, witte kraag. Lichtzure geur, hint van Brettanomyces, duidelijk geïnfecteerd, appels, licht kazig. Deze saaie Bitter is zojuist geupgrade naar Orval-light. Daardoor best een aangenaam bier geworden.

500 ml bottle conditioned, as Hunter's Devon Dreamer Amber Bitter, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.1%. Boadicea hops are used, also Goldings and Citra. Auburn colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma, notes of malts with hints of toffee and earthy hops. Malty and fruity flavour with notes of dark berries and brown bread. Moderate bitterness, a little more would not hurt.

Bottle from the Food Shop in Dartington. Appearance - amber with attractive lacing. Nose - toffee, biscuit, light citrus. Taste - more of the biscuits, topped with caramel this time. A hint of orange. Palate - light to medium bodied. Crunchy middle and finish. Overall - a solid bitter (though I note loaded as a golden ale).
