Bottle from Albert Heijn. Clear blond colour, sweet malty blond beer with some dirty yeasty notes. Typical French blond beer, not very good.

Clear deep golden colour, small fizzy white head, mostly diminishing; aroma pale malt, grainy, Belgian yeast, light banana, floral notes. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grainy, fruity notes, light caramel; short sweetbitter aftertaste, spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, simple and lightweight, just decent.

Bottle shared thanks to my dad. As Blonde 6.2%. Clear dark golden with fizzy white head. Cloves, coriander, sweet sugary grains, light cardboard. Quite weird spicy yeasty aroma. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. --- Beer merged from original tick of Abbaye / Abdij Crespin Blond on 18 Aug 2019 at 20:18 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5. Original review text: Bottle from Albert Heijn. Clear darker golden with small white head. Sugary malts, cardboard, light coriander, soap, bread, dry caramel, old wood. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with oily feel. I have no idea how it works with the different ‘Crespin’ branded beers, but this seems both different and worse than the Aldo one I had last week.
