Bottle from Berghoeve. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, spicy notes, some ripe fruits. Flavour is pretty sweet for a so-called Saison, with a mild bitterness in the finish. Body is medium with some hefty carbonation. Drinkable as a Belgian Ale, but not what I hope for when I hopen a bottle of Saison.

Bottle. Amber color. Citrus and a hint of caramel in the aroma and flavor. Floral. White pepper. Quite tasty and well balanced.

33cl bottle. A almost clear amber beer with a off white head. Aroma of mild reddish malt, resins and spices. Taste of reddish malt, caramel, spices, resins, moderate bitter finish.

Bottle. Orange copper color. Aroma of spicey yeast, grapefruit, amber malt and orange. Taste of metallic amber malt, grassy yeast, bitter grapefruit, some caramel and yeast esters. More a speciale belge than a saison actually. Eh.

Mineralige geur met wat karamelmout en citrus. Redelijk bitter en wat zoet van karamel. Kruidigheid ook meer in smaak dan geur

Fles 33cl thuis. Rood fruit tonen, rye, maltig, caramelzoeten, wat koolzuurtinteling, licht bloemig, redelijk droog. (20-7-2019).

Bottle shared with Joes,  judyvv, Ansjelaah and Dutchdrebus. Dark orange to reddish color, average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a tad sweet, a hint of rye, a hint of red fruit in the distance. Quite ok. 7-3-7-3-14.

Bottle shared at home. Thanks to santa bierkoning! Hazy dark amber with white head. Sweet malts, dry malts, cork, light sour, nutpeel dry, something floral, light fruity, plum peels. Moderate sweet and quite bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to Bierkoning. Bit hazy amber with off white head. Spicy yeast, light caramel, bready, fruity hops, light pepper, soft red currants. Just medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with velvety creamy carbonation. Quite nice.

Licht zoet en ontzettend saai. Maar dat is beter dan vies.
