Rich mahogany in color, this northwest brown ale has a caramel-like nose and aromas reminiscent of pit fruit. Medium in body, this ale is balanced seamlessly between the malt dominant origins of brown ale styles and the hop-forward concentration of northwest beers.

Bomber from PC Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. As McKenzie Brewing St. Bernard Brown. In strong light it pours orange/ruddy brown with a slight tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, nut and a hint of chocolate. Med body. Flavor is roast malt, dry chocolate. Finishes dry and a little bitter. Not bad for a brown.
